Underfoot Feel

The Salomon DRX Bliss running shoes feature a thick midsole of Energy Foam cushioning. This lightweight foam should feel protective and very responsive. By this, we mean they won't feel overly soft. Instead, you should experience a propulsive underfoot sensation.

For extra support, the DRX Bliss features an Active Chassis. To explain further, a firm material runs along the medial and lateral sides of the top of the midsole. This bumper style system supports your feet and helps align your ankle and knees. 

Upper Fit

With a lightweight engineered mesh upper, the Salomon DRX Bliss should feel breathable. Comfort is enhanced by plush fabric around the ankle collar. This also delivers a secure foothold.

Ideal Run Type

We recommend the Salomon Men's DRX Bliss stability road running shoes for slower to steady paced running. That's because the midsole should feel protective at slower efforts, and energetic at steadier paces. As the DRX Bliss midsole is relatively thick, we expect you'll find these comfortable for longer distances too. 

As the Active Chassis structure provides additional support, these should suit runners with greater ranges of pronation. This holistic style of support should also work well for runners who struggle with knee problems as a result of internal rotation. 

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
